Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will lead the business development efforts for the Dealer Business Group within the CV Commercial Banking vertical. This role involves managing a team of Relationship Managers, driving sales targets, expanding dealer networks, and deepening client relationships across the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Drive acquisition of new dealer relationships and commercial vehicle financing opportunities.
- Achieve regional sales targets across loan products, working capital, and dealer financing solutions.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with OEMs and large dealer groups.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and grow relationships with key dealers and commercial clients.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive service and customized financial solutions.
- Monitor client portfolios for performance, risk, and cross-sell opportunities.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Relationship Managers and Sales Officers.
- Conduct regular training and performance reviews to enhance team productivity.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Analyze regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Provide insights to senior management for product development and strategic planning.
- Implement regional marketing campaigns and dealer engagement initiatives.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit standards.
- Monitor portfolio quality and take corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle financing and dealer ecosystems.
- Proven track record in sales leadership and business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, financial analysis, and credit underwriting.
Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in commercial banking, preferably in dealer finance or CV lending.
- Prior experience in managing regional sales teams is highly desirable.
