Business Development Manager – Job Description
Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building key customer relationships, and increasing company revenue. This role involves strategic planning, sales management, and forging strong client partnerships to drive long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in existing and new markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify potential growth areas.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product development) to align business strategies.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand presence.
Track and report on business development performance and KPIs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
2 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by results.
