Role Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to drive business growth within assigned territories. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and modern trade outlets while ensuring consistent revenue growth and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Appoint, manage, and develop distributors and stockists to ensure product availability and market reach.
- Build strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and modern trade outlets.
- Plan and execute sales promotions, sampling, and visibility activities to enhance brand awareness.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy credit control.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, stock levels, and merchandising standards.
- Coordinate with the marketing and supply chain teams for smooth execution of sales plans.
- Identify and onboard new retail and institutional clients to expand market presence.
- Prepare and share regular MIS reports on sales, secondary sales, and market insights.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2years of experience in FMCG / Food & Beverage sales (especially retail, general trade, or modern trade).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and people management skills.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving ability.
