The
General Manager – B2B Academic Partnerships
will be responsible for forging strong collaborations with schools, colleges, and universities to expand UniLiv's presence across India. This role demands a
highly networked individual
with strong relationships in the education sector, proven business development expertise, and the ability to deliver impactful institutional tie-ups.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnerships

  • Drive UniLiv's academic partnership initiatives with schools, colleges, universities, and institutes.
  • Secure long-term MoUs, tie-ups, and lease partnerships for student accommodation.
  • Build, manage, and leverage a
    robust database of academic decision-makers
    (directors, trustees, deans, placement heads).
  • Position UniLiv as the preferred housing partner for leading institutions.

Relationship Management

  • Cultivate senior-level relationships with institutional stakeholders and education bodies.
  • Represent UniLiv at academic fairs, summits, and conferences to enhance visibility.
  • Ensure sustained engagement with partner institutions for long-term collaboration.

Business Growth & Revenue Ownership

  • Own and deliver growth targets from academic tie-ups.
  • Convert institutional relationships into large bed commitments and long-term contracts.
  • Collaborate with leadership on new city launches and partnership-led growth models.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and manage a high-performing team for institutional outreach and partnerships.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Marketing to ensure seamless delivery for institutional clients.
  • Provide insights and strategy to the leadership team on expansion planning and institutional demand.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay updated on trends in the education sector, government policies, and competitor strategies.
  • Explore new models for partnerships such as PPP, joint ventures, or managed services.
  • Track performance through dashboards, reports, and measurable KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in
    institutional partnerships, B2B academic tie-ups, corporate alliances, or higher education sales
    , with strong exposure to the education sector.
  • Proven
    network of contacts
    in schools, colleges, and universities across India.
  • Track record of
    closing large institutional deals
    in hospitality, real estate, or education services.
  • Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a national role with frequent travel.
