Business Development Manager - Mumbai

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, building strong client relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and contributing to the overall revenue objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Generate leads through networking, industry events, online platforms, and referrals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and product) to ensure client satisfaction and successful delivery of services.
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships.
  • Track, analyse, and report business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience (3–7 years) in sales, business development, or client relationship management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools, MS Office, and business development best practices.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
