Hotel Sales Manager

A hotel sales manager develops and implements sales strategies to increase hotel revenue by attracting business and leisure clients. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, negotiating contracts, conducting market research, managing a sales budget, and collaborating with marketing and other hotel departments. The role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality market and sales performance metrics. Core duties and responsibilities
- Sales strategy and execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and profit targets.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other key accounts to foster repeat business.
- Contract negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients for rooms, events, and other hotel services.
- Market and competitor analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
- Sales team management: Manage, train, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a cohesive sales and guest experience strategy.
- Performance tracking and reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Budgeting: Prepare and manage the sales budget.
Additional activities
- Conducting proactive outreach, including calls, emails, and in-person visits, to generate leads.
- Preparing and delivering presentations to potential clients.
- Attending trade shows, sales meetings, and networking events.
- Managing customer relationship management (CRM) databases.
- Developing and coordinating with the marketing team on promotional materials and campaigns.
- Analyzing and adjusting sales strategies based on performance data and market insights.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹300, ₹500,000.00 per year
