Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, coach, mentor, motivate and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) focused on Pulmonary
  • Develop strategies to Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the Pulmonary product portfolio in Kerala.
  • Forecast sales, plan budgets, analyse gaps, review performance and take corrective actions
  • Develop strategic sales plans and identify new business opportunities aligned with Protectol's overall business and marketing strategies for Pulmonary.
  • Build, maintain, and nurture relationships with key healthcare professionals, Plan and execute medical educational events (CME, workshops, seminars) for KOL engagement.
  • Use feedback from KOLs and key accounts to drive brand adoption and product positioning.
  • Ensure appropriate availability of products via distributors, stockists, and retailers.
  • Ensure promotion materials are properly utilized and aligned with medical and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reports: sales volumes, sales value, market share, promotional ROI, customer feedback, prescription audits.
  • Use data to identify gaps and opportunities in performance, markets, products and prepare periodic reviews (monthly / quarterly) to senior management.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and the industry code of conduct.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in Science / Pharmacy or related field
  • Minimum years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with relevant 3–5 years in a Regional Sales Manager role.
  • Proven expertise in Pulmonary therapeutic areas.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and people management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Kerala region.
