Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Kerala region for our construction chemicals products. The Regional Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and managing a high-performing sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the construction chemicals market and proven leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned regions to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to guide sales strategies.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the regional sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to achieve sales objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment focused on achieving individual and team goals.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, distributors, and other stakeholders within the construction industry.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients to expand the customer base and increase sales penetration.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities.
- Strategic Partnerships:
- Collaborate with distributors, dealers, and channel partners to optimize distribution networks and increase market coverage.
- Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's construction chemicals product portfolio and effectively communicate product value propositions to customers.
- Market Intelligence:
- Gather market intelligence and provide insights on customer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging market trends to guide sales strategies.
- Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, addressing their needs and showcasing the benefits of our products.
- Lead negotiations to close deals that align with company objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, technical, and customer support teams to ensure a unified approach in meeting customer needs and expectations.
- Budget Management:
- Manage regional sales budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize expenses to achieve maximum return on investment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager in the construction chemicals industry, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of construction chemicals products, applications, and market dynamics in the Kochi, Kerala regions.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in using sales management tools and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned regions as needed.
