About the role

We are seeking a senior textiles trading leader to own the P&L for our India desk. You'll leverage deep mill/supplier and buyer relationships to drive volume and margins across yarns, fibers, and fabricsoperating independently while coordinating closely with our teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Full profit centre ownership: pricing, margins, pipeline, forecasting
  • New business generation and account growth across India & export markets
  • Sourcing & sales across yarns/fibers/fabrics; negotiate commercial terms
  • Operations oversight: shipments, documentation, LC/DA/DP flows, credit control
  • Market intelligence: track costs, FX, duties, and competitive moves
  • Cross-functional leadership with logistics, finance, and QA teams

What youll need

  • 10–15 years in textiles/yarn/fabric trading with solid industry connections
  • Proven P&L/target ownership and ability to operate independently
  • Strong negotiation & relationship management skills
  • Familiarity with international trade documentation and payment terms
