Job Title: PMO (Project Management Office) Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Project Portfolio Management:

    • Manage and oversee the organization's project portfolio.
    • Prioritize projects based on strategic objectives and resource availability.
    • Ensure alignment of projects with organizational goals.

  2. Methodology Development and Governance:

    • Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and processes.
    • Establish governance frameworks to ensure projects adhere to standards and guidelines.
    • Provide guidance and support to project managers on project execution.

  3. Resource Management:

    • Allocate resources effectively across projects.
    • Monitor resource utilization and capacity planning.
    • Identify and resolve resource conflicts.

  4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Monitor project performance against key metrics and milestones.
    • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management.
    • Conduct post-project reviews and identify lessons learned.

  5. Risk and Issue Management:

    • Identify and assess project risks and issues.
    • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
    • Monitor and report on risk status to stakeholders.

  6. Stakeholder Management:

    • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders and project teams.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project outcomes.

  7. Continuous Improvement:

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
    • Foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
