About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive PMO Lead with expertise in software project execution. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless planning, execution, and delivery of software projects. This individual will oversee project planning, risk management, process compliance, and revenue planning while driving collection efficiency and managing escalations.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Planning

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective execution of software projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones, aligning them with organizational goals.
• Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

Risk Management

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and update stakeholders on potential challenges and resolutions.

Escalation Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related escalations, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address roadblocks and maintain project momentum.

Process Compliance

• Enforce adherence to established processes, standards, and best practices in project management.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Revenue Planning & Collections

• Assist in revenue forecasting, ensuring alignment with project deliverables and client contracts.
• Drive timely and accurate invoicing and ensure collections are completed within agreed timelines.
• Work with finance and project teams to manage budgets and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles, preferably in software project execution.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience in risk management, escalation handling, and compliance audits.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM).
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and ITIL frameworks.
• Experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial planning.
