Role Overview:

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for driving business growth and achieving sales targets across the assigned region. The role involves developing and executing regional sales strategies, managing and mentoring sales teams, and building strong client relationships to maximize revenue and market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Area/Branch Sales Managers and Sales Executives.
  • Drive acquisition and retention of key clients, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
  • Monitor regional sales performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Product, and HR) to optimize business outcomes.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify new opportunities and competitive trends.
  • Prepare and present periodic business performance reports to senior management.
  • Oversee training and development initiatives to enhance sales productivity and communication skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10–15 years of experience in sales management, with at least 3–5 years in a regional leadership role.
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Experience in [telecom / banking / insurance / financial services / FMCG – customize as needed].
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
