Job brief:
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Team to help us expand our clientele. He/she will be the front face of the organisation and focus on business development and implement an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with the clients. Identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. The work can involve careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or enhancing the operation of the business, position or reputation in some way.
Job description:
· Strong existing relationships with many brands and brand owners.
· Conduct business presentations to potential clients.
· Establish trust and maintain long term relationships with the clients.
· Driving Client Acquisition and Scaling up clients.
· Work as a bridge between the client & agency to offer all marketing & events solutions.
· Develop entry level staff into valuable sales team.
· Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
· Promote the company's products/services addressing clients' requirements.
· Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to rules and guidelines.
· Keep records of sales, revenue, invoicing & payments etc.
· Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
Expectations:
· Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
· Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the current business.
· Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
· Should have a good understanding of marketing & events industry services.
· Must have handled volume-based big-ticket deals.
· Should have exposure to top-notch brands across business categories.
· Good network with relevant people managing marketing and events for various brands.
· Proactive in developing new business in line with the revenue and sales target.
· Good network with similar Govt. category clients would also help.
Key Skills/Expertise:
· Working experience as a Business Development Head, Manager, Executive or at a similar profile.
· 5 years+ of experience in Business Development would be an added advantage.
· Time management and planning skills.
· Exposure directly to clients is ideal.
· Good networking skills are a must.
· Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
· Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
· Written and verbal communication & presentation skills
· Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
· Project management and organisational skills
· Negotiation skills
· Initiative and confidence to start things from scratch.
· A polite speaker & a good listener.
· Good powerpoint presentation making skills.
· Exceptional team and business management skills.
· Demonstrate a can-do attitude at all times.
· Target-oriented and a self-motivated over-achiever.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40, ₹70,000.00 per month
