Key Responsibilities:
Seller Onboarding & Activation
• Identify and reach out to relevant steel sellers (TMT, structural steel, pipes, etc.) in
the Chennai region.
• Guide new sellers through the onboarding process and ensure all necessary
documentation is collected.
• Train sellers on how to use the Hashtagsteel platform to list and manage their
products.
Catalogue & Pricing Management
• Ensure sellers upload complete and accurate product catalogs with correct
specifications and brand details.
• Work with sellers to keep their pricing updated regularly on the platform.
• Verify that stock availability and delivery timelines are reflected correctly.
Seller Relationship Management
• Build strong working relationships with sellers to maintain trust and long-term
engagement.
• Act as the main point of contact for seller queries, escalations, or platform support.
• Encourage sellers to provide better service levels and adopt platform-driven
processes.
Platform Compliance & Data Accuracy
• Monitor seller performance and flag issues like pricing errors, outdated products, or
fulfillment delays.
• Ensure sellers comply with Hashtagsteel standards for quality, service, and
response time.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve listing or transaction issues quickly.
Qualifications:
• Graduate/MBA with 10 plus years of experience in B2B sales, supply/vendor
management, or steel trade.
• In-depth knowledge of Chennais steel market and supplier landscape.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Tech-savvy; comfortable using dashboards, CRM systems, and mobile apps.
• Willingness to travel locally for market visits and seller meetings.
Preferred:
• Experience in the steel, construction materials, or manufacturing sector.
• Exposure to digital commerce platforms or tech-driven B2B ecosystems.
