Sathaga Paravaigal Trust is a registered Public Charitable Trust founded in 2020, originally established in 2015 to honor the memory of Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Former President of India. The Trust serves various disadvantaged groups, including the poor, rural communities, orphans, and individuals affected by natural calamities, among others. Our mission is to inspire the younger generation through education and skill development programs, and to enhance our culture and environment through continuous service and support.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a State Head, located in Tamil Nadu, India. The State Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Trust's daily operations within the state, implementing educational and skill development programs, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the effective delivery of services to beneficiaries. Additional tasks include managing a team, reporting on project progress, and fundraising activities.

Qualifications

  • Management and leadership skills
  • Experience in program implementation and coordination
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fundraising and financial management experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
  • Proficiency in Tamil and English languages
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Management, or related field
