Role Overview:
Rooter Shop is building Indias most comprehensive catalogue of digital goods—gift cards, gaming currencies, subscription codes, utility vouchers and more. In this role, you will own two critical levers of our digital commerce business:
Supplier Acquisition & Catalogue Expansion: Source, negotiate, and onboard a high-quality network of domestic and international suppliers.
B2B Sales & Enterprise Growth: Drive bulk sales of digital goods to corporate clients, loyalty platforms, fintech companies, e-commerce marketplaces, and reseller networks.
Your success will be measured by the strength and profitability of our supplier ecosystem and the velocity of B2B deal closures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier & Product Acquisition
- Map category gaps and build a target list of new SKUs (gift cards, gaming currencies, subscription codes, etc.)
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers across India & globally
- Negotiate commercials (margins, rebates, payment terms), servicelevel agreements and compliance documents
- Manage daytoday supplier relationships to ensure price competitiveness, stock. availability and dispute resolution
- Work with Product, Finance & Ops to optimise cost and payout cycles.
2. B2B Sales & Key Account Management
- Generate and qualify a pipeline of enterprise prospects: corporate gifting, loyalty & rewards platforms, fintech apps, ecommerce marketplaces, and offline distributors
- Craft solution decks, pricing models and API/catalogue integrations tailored to each client.
- Lead the full sales cycle—discovery, proposal, negotiation, contract, launch—and exceed quarterly GMV & margin targets
- Build longterm strategic partnerships, upsell new SKUs, and track account health.
- Collect market feedback to inform product roadmap and supplier priorities.
3. Success Metrics:
- Supplier Onboarding: New vendors acquired per quarter; catalogue depth across categories
- Supplier Economics: Average margin per SKU; rebate structures; cost optimisation
- B2B Sales Performance: GMV, gross profit, new logos acquired
- Deal Efficiency: Sales cycle length, conversion rate, repeat business
Requirements:
- 4–8 years in B2B business development/sales, vendor management or keyaccount sales within digital gift cards, prepaid products, gaming, fintech or ecommerce
- Proven track record of sourcing international suppliers and closing largeticket B2B deals
- Strong negotiation, commercial modelling and contract management skills
- Deep network in corporate gifting, loyalty, or gaming ecosystems
- Datadriven; advanced Excel/Google Sheets and CRM proficiency (Salesforce/HubSpot)

- Passion for gaming/esports and understanding of gaming communities.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
