Job Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, results-oriented Business Development & Channel Manager to drive enrolment and revenue growth for ISPD's training programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a balanced strategy across both digital and traditional channels, with a primary focus on expanding our market reach and onboarding key channel partners.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Partner Development & Management
Onboard Partners: Identify, approach, negotiate with, and successfully onboard new channel partners (e.g., educational institutions, corporate HR departments, business consultants) to drive program enrolments.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to maximize partner-driven enrolments.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with all channel partners, providing them with necessary resources and training to be effective advocates for ISPD.
Performance Monitoring: Track, analyse, and report on the performance of all channel partners, implementing incentives and corrective actions to meet sales targets.
Sales & Enrolment Generation (Online & Offline)
Online Marketing & Lead Generation: Develop and execute effective digital strategies (e.g., LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, webinars, digital sales presentations) to generate qualified leads and individual enrolments.
- Offline Sales & Outreach: Proactively conduct market visits, cold-calling, networking, and direct sales activities to acquire new individual and corporate clients.
- Client Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and closing enrolments.
Proposal Creation: Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and customized proposals that clearly articulate the ROI of ISPD's training.
Strategy & Administration
Market Intelligence: Conduct continuous market research to identify new business opportunities, training industry trends, and competitive positioning.
- Strategy Contribution: Collaborate with the leadership team to suggest and implement improvements to program offerings, pricing, and overall sales strategy.
- CRM Management: Ensure all sales activities, pipeline updates, and partner data are accurately documented and maintained in the CRM system.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record (X+ years) in a Business Development, Sales, or Channel Management role, ideally within the Education, Training, or Service industry.
- Dual Competency: Demonstrated ability to manage both digital marketing/sales activities and traditional, in-person B2B/B2C sales.
- Channel Experience: Prior success in identifying, recruiting, and managing sales channel partners.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective pitching and relationship building.
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and knowledge of digital prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Mindset: Highly motivated, self-driven, and possesses a strong ethical approach to sales, aligned with ISPD's core values.
