Dreams Cafe is a creative and community-driven space known for its curated culinary experiences, innovative menu concepts, and aesthetic ambiance. We’re currently expanding our kitchen team and are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking **Sous Chef - Continental Cuisine** who can bring new energy, flavor, and ideas to our cafe.

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations and food preparation
- Develop and test **new recipes and menu items** for the continental section
- Create **seasonal menus** and ensure they align with the cafe’s brand and vision
- Design and develop **signature dishes** exclusive to Dreams Cafe
- Conduct regular **R&D** to explore new ingredients, techniques, and global food trends
- Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety
- Actively collaborate with the marketing team to **promote new dishes and menus**:

- Participate in **menu photoshoots, tasting sessions, and promotional events**:

- Manage kitchen inventory and assist in cost control
- Work with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours
- Baking knowledge or experience will be highly valued and appreciated

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 5+ years of experience in a Continental kitchen, preferably in a cafe or bistro setting
- Passion for creating fresh, modern, and trend-driven dishes
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, plating, and portion control
- Creative mindset and willingness to experiment with ingredients and styles
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- A team player who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Baking or patisserie knowledge is a significant advantage
