Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Sous Chef specializing in Hyderabadi cuisine, located on-site in Hyderabad. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and overseeing kitchen operations. Duties include ensuring the quality of dishes, managing kitchen staff, maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards, and monitoring food stock. Additionally, the Sous Chef will contribute to staff training and development and collaborate on new recipe innovations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Hyderabadi cuisine, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Strong skills in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
- Experience in managing kitchen staff and maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards
- Food stock management and inventory control
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Relevant culinary degree or certification is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or have 7-8 years of culinary experience
