Vardman Group is a leading exporter, supplier, and online retailer of natural stone products, specializing in high-quality paving stones. Our ecommerce business is expanding in UK, and we are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team.
**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Customer Inquiries**: Handle customer inquiries regarding products, orders, deliveries, returns, and other fulfilment related issues.
- **Order Assistance**: Assist customers in completing their orders.
- **Sample Order Conversion**: Proactively convert sample order customers into regular buyers through effective outbound communication via calls, WhatsApp, or messages.
- **Trade Customer Engagement**: Develop and maintain strong connections with trade customers such as landscapers, garden designers, and contractors.
- **Post-Purchase Communication**: Follow up with customers post-purchase for feedback, reviews, and obtaining project photos/videos after installation.
- **Social Media Communication**: Monitor social media comments and respond promptly to inquiries and concerns.
- **Issue Resolution**: Coordinate with different internal departments to resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently.
- **Customer Retention**: Implement strategies to enhance customer retention and repeat purchases.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and keep detailed notes for future reference.
- **Reports**: Prepare and submit periodic reports summarizing customer inquiries, trends, and feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance customer service strategies.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (customer service, communications, business administration preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role with a demonstrably strong track record of exceeding customer expectations. Experience for an ecommerce business is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with a clear, professional, and friendly tone.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize tasks, and manage a fast-paced workload.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify root causes of customer issues and find appropriate solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connect with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and handling challenging situations with a calm and professional attitude.
- Familiarity with the natural stone industry (a plus).
- Comfortable with working in India/UK time zones interchangeably.
