Senior Sales Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Leader to develop our Gore Medical business in India. This position is responsible for leading the sales strategy for Gore Medical Products distribution and selling in India, with a focus on driving growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute an effective sales strategy aligned with our Global Business Unit and regional strategic plan, communicating clearly to key stakeholders.
- Review, drive, and manage effective sales channels and processes with Operations, Tender, Reimbursement, Channel team, etc.
- Be accountable for meeting or exceeding sales forecasts, running a profitable territory business.
- Develop and network with key opinion leaders, ensuring that key account plans are actively pursued.
- Determine sales channels and facilitate this process with local teams.
- Implement customer segmentation strategies.
- Maintain proper relationships with key congresses.
- Develop and execute new business initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge in appropriate areas, including clinical and technical benefits of Gore portfolio relative to the competitive landscape.
- Lead recruitment for new sales associates, ensuring thorough and professional onboarding and training.
- Ensure company compliance standards and country legal requirements are followed across the team.
- Minimum 8 years of medical device experience, with at least 5 years of experience leading a team of sales representatives.
- Proven team development and coaching experience.
- Proven indirect sales channel management experience.
- Proven key account management experience and product launch.
- Extensive India market knowledge.
- Ability to travel 50%.
