Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Director to lead our transportation optimization efforts across the entire region. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage regional operating budgets to meet financial objectives, ensuring efficient operations and achieving satisfactory profit/loss ratios, market share, and sales/margin goals in alignment with industry trends and economic conditions.
  • Provide training and direction for both new and existing sales team members, guiding them in expanding the customer base and maintaining relationships with current customers through competitive analysis and excellent service delivery.
  • Lead customer acquisition efforts by sourcing, building, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, exploring opportunities for additional business with existing clients, and conducting monthly financial analyses to evaluate the success of current customer profiles and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain relationships with current customers through competitive analysis and excellent service delivery, ensuring seamless communication between customers and operations staff.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of all necessary documentation with accuracy and efficiency, setting and managing sales goals for specialized areas, including FTL (Full Truckload), Hyperlocal, and ODC (Over-Dimensional Cargo).

Requirements:

  • A balance of strategic leadership and hands-on involvement to drive regional success.
  • Proven experience in regional or sales management, preferably in logistics or transportation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and budgeting, knowledge of CRM systems and market analysis.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and deliver results-oriented performance.
