About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our South India region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, building strong relationships with customers, and developing effective sales strategies.

Job Requirements
  • Conceptualize and execute territory plans aligned with regional and national objectives.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and track performance against targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow sales in uncovered or inadequately served areas.
  • Close orders and ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Lead generation and market research to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in direct sales, preferably in utility capital equipment.
  • Proven success in managing sales teams and achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and preferences, with ability to develop tailored solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the South India region (approximately 70% of the time).
