About the Role

The Associate Director, Email Marketing Operations plays a pivotal role in shaping our email marketing strategies, overseeing operations, and driving performance. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this individual will define strategic direction for email customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of two, overseeing daily operations and ensuring seamless execution of email campaigns.
  • Lead Salesforce email activities, including scheduling, set-up, QC, deployment, and deliverability of all email and newsletters.
  • Owning campaign performance reporting and analysis, providing actionable insights based on available data, benchmarks, and KPIs.
  • Managing email customer databases, list hygiene initiatives, and extracting strategic insights to drive segmentation.
  • Setting up, monitoring, and optimizing email journeys and automations with static and dynamic content.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, including technical and non-technical audiences, to communicate clearly and effectively.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in email operations using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with certifications or experience in AMPscript and SQL being a plus.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with measurement methods across online and offline channels, including A/B testing.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
