Job Overview

The Ayurveda Experience, a leading online platform in the North American market, is seeking a highly skilled Strategic eCommerce Director to spearhead its growth and expansion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to drive sales, improve customer experience, and enhance brand visibility.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in retail management, preferably in the FMCG or e-commerce sectors. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Planning: Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, and increase customer engagement.
  • E-commerce Management: Oversee all aspects of e-commerce operations, including order management, inventory management, and payment processing.
  • Traffic Acquisition: Strategically develop and execute plans to attract and retain customers, including social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Technology Roadmap: Collaborate with vendors to develop and implement technology solutions that drive sales, improve customer experience, and enhance brand visibility.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier college (IIMs, XLRI, SP Jain, etc.).
  • Minimum 10-17 years of relevant work experience in retail management, preferably in the FMCG or e-commerce sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills, with proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
