Leadership Role in Placement and Corporate Interface

We seek a strategic leader to head our placement & corporate relations function.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Design placement strategies aligned with our vision and market trends, driving results through effective corporate networks.
  • Corporate Relations: Develop strong relationships with top-tier companies, startups, and public sector enterprises for placements, internships, and live projects.
  • Placement Operations: Oversee the entire placement process from pre-placement talks to final offers, ensuring a seamless experience for recruiters and students.
  • Student Readiness: Collaborate with faculty and training partners to prepare students for industry expectations, including resume building, interview preparation, and group discussion practice.
  • Alumni Engagement: Leverage our alumni network for placement support, mentorship, and networking opportunities, fostering lifelong connections.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track placement metrics, prepare insightful reports, and present findings to leadership and stakeholders, informing strategic decisions.

Quantitative Targets:

  • Place 360 students for final placements and 360 students for summer internships, exceeding performance expectations.
  • Substantially increase the median salary compared to the previous year, reflecting our commitment to excellence.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree (preferably an MBA or equivalent) from a reputable institution, demonstrating academic excellence.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate relations, placements, business development, or HR, ideally within a reputable academic institution or corporate setting, showcasing leadership potential.
  • Strong network across various industries, facilitating partnerships and collaborations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration.
  • A strategic thinker with a result-oriented approach, driving success through data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
