Job Overview

Bigsea Marcom (I) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a talented Business Development Manager for Advertising Sales to spearhead sales efforts and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • To identify and sell advertising opportunities to potential clients based on the audience profile of the magazine, service existing clients, and collaborate with their agencies to secure advertising deals.
  • Drive business development by analyzing new possibilities for growth and expansion.
  • Pitch and sell advertising space in line with assigned targets.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and agencies through sales and other business development activities.

Requirements

  • A successful sales track record, with the ability to lead sales efforts and actively engage clients, particularly those requiring complex solutions.
  • A solid understanding of the B2B sales process and market mapping at various levels are essential.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills (written and oral), be highly motivated, self-driven, and exhibit a "never say die" attitude.
  • Ability to sell honestly without discounts or editorial support, along with creative problem-solving skills to map the market effectively.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar or related magazine/newspaper setting is required.
