About This Opportunity

This role involves taking complete ownership of apparel categories and driving business growth across seasons. As a Category Manager, you will balance fashion, analytics, and strategy to manage the category end-to-end:

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing Strategy & Revenue Management: Own profitability at the category level, plan pricing, discounts, and margins aligned with growth targets, and identify growth levers and monitor revenue performance.
  • Inventory Planning & Control: Forecast demand based on data, seasonality & trends, ensure healthy inventory levels to reduce stock-outs & dead stock, and partner with sourcing & production for timely replenishments.
  • Product Mix Optimization & Sales Performance: Build collections that align with customer demand & brand identity, plan product mix across price points, characters & collections, and track SKU-level performance to boost conversions and sell-through.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with design on seasonal directions & briefs, collaborate with marketing & e-commerce for launches & visibility, and share insights and reports with the team & leadership.
Requirements
  • 2–5 years of experience in Category Management, Buying, or Merchandising (fashion/D2C preferred)
  • Strong analytical & Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • A sharp eye for product, pricing, and consumer trends in apparel
  • Ability to manage fast-paced timelines & multiple stakeholders
  • Marketplace experience (Amazon, Myntra, AJIO, etc.) is a significant advantage
