About the role

As a Sales Development Manager at Carrier, you will play a key role in supporting the company's outside sales activities and customer relationship management. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain business relationships with customers to enhance outside sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop professional relationships with customers to understand their needs and suggest products and/or services that meet those needs.
  • Support business development activities for prospects within defined customer segments to support the company's business strategy.
  • Prospect bid opportunities, participate in the preparation of bid responses, and negotiate with potential customers.
  • Develop new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
  • Identify prospective target accounts and present them to the sales business development team.
  • Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows to increase the visibility of the organization and potentially influence prospects.

Requirements

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge obtained through a university degree, combined with experience. Practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work. University degree or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
