Job Summary:

The National Sales Manager for Current Account and Savings Account is responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to acquire and grow the bank's Current Account and Savings Account customer base at the national level.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop a comprehensive national sales strategy for Current Account and Savings Account products in alignment with the bank's overall objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer segments, and competition to identify growth opportunities.
  • Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets and performance metrics for the national Current Account and Savings Account sales team.
  1. Team Leadership and Management:
  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of Current Account and Savings Account sales professionals.
  • Provide continuous coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members.
  • Foster a culture of sales excellence and customer-centricity within the team.
  1. Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management:
  • Identify potential target markets and customer segments for Current Account and Savings Account products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners to drive business growth.
  • Implement effective customer acquisition strategies and campaigns to attract new Current Account and Savings Account account holders.
  1. Product Knowledge and Compliance:
  • Ensure that the sales team has a deep understanding of Current Account and Savings Account products, features, and benefits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience in sales, particularly in the banking sector, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Current Account and Savings Account products, banking regulations, and financial services industry trends.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused.
