About MGS India

MUFG Global Service Private Limited (MGS) is a 100% subsidiary of MUFG, established in 2020. With offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai, MGS India serves as a Global Capability Centre / Centre of Excellence, providing support services across functions like IT, KYC/ AML, Credit, Operations, etc., to MUFG Bank offices globally.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deposit Processing Specialist to join our team in Bangalore. As a key member, you will be responsible for supporting business teams in executing functions related to transaction processing, timely response to queries raised, record maintenance, reconciliation, following internal and regulatory procedures, and liaising with other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth processing of transactions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Diligently perform duties as Maker/checker for assigned activities.
  • Understand and adhere to the Bank's process/policies.
  • Work closely with overseas branches to process/execute transactions according to accuracy/quality standards/SLA's of the Bank.
  • Leverage system functions and adhere to controls.
  • Support overseas branches in resolving operational incidents/reporting (if any).
  • Provide suggestions to improve/streamline operational processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in managing deposit products.
  • Strong PC skills, particularly in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT message types and Payment Systems; T24, GPP, CHAPS, SEPA, RTGS, etc.
  • Experience in account opening processes, static data maintenance, and customer data management.
  • Understanding of clearing and payment processes (inward and outward). Knowledge of various system applications used for clearing/deposit booking.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines related to the domain.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication and stakeholder management.
