Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Deposit Specialist - Global Operations to join our team in Bangalore. This role will be responsible for the daily processing and supervision of workflow for various deposit products related to the department.
Main Responsibilities- Perform duties as Maker/checker for assigned activities diligently.
- Understand the process/policies of the Bank and adhere to established needs.
- Work closely with overseas branches to process/execute transactions as per accuracy/quality standards/SKF SLA's of the Bank.
- Learn system functions and adhere to controls.
- Support overseas branches to resolve operational incidents/reporting (if any).
- Provide suggestions to improve/streamline operational processes.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within MUFG.
- Support and resolve customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Work in partnership with Compliance to understand relevant operational guidelines, MUFG's standard procedures, and local regulations.
- Assess the impact on daily operations workflow.
- Work in partnership with the wider operations team for information sharing.
- Provide guidance and support to more junior members of the team.
- Assist in the training and development of individuals to ensure high-level job knowledge.
- Perform checking process on operational issues escalated by less experienced members of the team.
- Reconcile daily pending transactions.
- Support Head of Department in determining level of support on new MUFG product offerings.
- Review resourcing issues, internal policies, workarounds, and system capabilities.
- Support Head of Department in achieving department's KPIs set by Branch Management.
- Manage risk profile for the department.
- Support internal and external audits within the department.
- Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws, and regulations.
Salary: ₹25-35 LPA depending on experience.
