The Role

We seek an experienced Key Account Development Manager to drive the growth and retention of our existing client portfolio. This pivotal role demands a proactive individual with a wealth of experience in account management, adept at identifying upsell opportunities and steering revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain client relationships with executives and decision-makers in large accounts, expanding business relationships beyond IT and Procurement into the C-Suite.
  • This is a quota-carrying role requiring strong negotiation and pricing discussion skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Lead negotiations and pricing discussions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline from week to week, providing accurate and timely updates to management on progress and outlook.
  • Periodically review account performance to optimise growth opportunities.
  • Capture and capitalise on upsell opportunities within existing accounts, focusing on enhancing net retention rates and deriving more business from current clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise revenue streams and ensure client retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to devise strategies for account growth and retention.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in account management in the SaaS or tech sector.
  • Proven success in growing client accounts and achieving revenue growth through upselling and retention strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
