Job Responsibilities

This role reports to the Senior Finance Director – Global Tax and will be responsible for managing 1 Senior International Tax Analyst.

The Sr. International Tax Manager will be responsible for the management and supervision of all tax-related compliance and planning activities of the company, including but not limited to local and national taxes, transfer pricing, and other assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide management and tactical direction for all tax-related compliance requirements of the company.
  • Manage process-improvement to achieve productivity and efficiency in the tax compliance processes of the company.
  • Help manage and establish finance policies affecting tax compliance.
  • Take ownership to deliver the Group's tax compliance obligations through managing a combination of in-house finance resources and external advisors.
  • Assist efforts in the review of quarterly, interim, and year-end income tax provisions and annual disclosures for the Group.
  • Participate in a broad range of complex and challenging US and global tax work, requiring significant analysis, assessment, and quantification.
  • Represent, assist, and defend the company in all matters related to tax, such as tax registrations, applications for rulings, tax investigations, and tax audits.
  • Assist with the delivery of Master/Local transfer pricing documentation and Country By Country Reporting.
  • Review the works of direct reports for completeness and accuracy and manage their performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Great technical knowledge in various areas and facets of tax, especially with experience in Philippine and US Taxation.
  • Knowledge and experience in US and Global Taxation, including Cross-border taxation.
  • High proficiency in accounting standards and rules.
  • At least 5-7 years of working experience, with specific experience in Global Taxation, US Taxation, Business Finance, Finance & Accounting, Project Management, and/or Policy Establishment and Direction.

Prior Experience:

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic working knowledge in Oracle, SAP, or other major ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in EFPS.
