Role Overview
The Director of Strategic Alliances and Revenue Growth will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sponsorship revenue and establish long-term partnerships that enhance our brand presence. This is a key leadership role focused on building strategic alliances with brands, securing sponsorship deals, and maximizing revenue opportunities within the esports ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development:
- Identify, prospect, and secure high-value sponsorship and partnership deals with leading brands and agencies.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential sponsors that align with the organisation's brand image and strategic vision.
- Foster relationships with key industry players to establish long-term alliances.
Sponsorship Sales & Negotiation:
- Lead the end-to-end sponsorship sales process, including proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal closure.
- Achieve revenue targets through sponsorship agreements and strategic partnerships.
- Develop compelling sponsorship packages that leverage the organisation's tournament slots, brand assets, and audience reach.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Create and implement a strategic roadmap to attract new partners and sponsors while retaining existing ones.
- Craft compelling proposals and pitch decks to present sponsorship opportunities to potential partners.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to inform strategy.
- Oversee the activation and execution of sponsorship agreements, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with sponsors and partners to ensure satisfaction and drive renewals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors, ensuring effective communication and alignment on objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, content) to integrate partner campaigns seamlessly into the organisation's activities.
Performance Analytics & Reporting:
- Track, analyse, and report on the performance of partnerships and sponsorships to optimise future deals.
- Provide regular updates on revenue forecasts, partnership progress, and market insights.
- Evaluate and optimise partnership strategies based on performance metrics and industry benchmarks.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits may include a bonus structure, health insurance, retirement plan, and professional development opportunities.
