The Account Executive role at Forrester Research, Inc. is a hybrid sales position responsible for generating and closing new business opportunities, as well as renewing and upselling existing clients within an assigned territory. Key objectives include developing and executing a territory plan and strategy to achieve high quota attainment, conducting needs analyses, and demonstrating the value of Forrester solutions to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve new business sales quota in the assigned territory on corporate enterprises.
- Prospect and close appropriate accounts from a target account list on corporate enterprises.
- Build strong relationships with existing clients, develop them further, and drive retention of existing businesses by ensuring high-level client satisfaction.
- Maintain an appropriate sales pipeline to achieve quota, update the pipeline in Forrester's CRM system (Salesforce.com), and produce accurate and timely forecasts.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A proven track record of prospecting and selling strategic solutions to corporate enterprises.
- Proven experience in working in a complex global business environment and managing stakeholders internally and externally.
