Key Account Manager - South India

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to lead our post-merger integration project in South India with a global consulting firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to connect with dealers and key accounts across South India.
  • Conduct market visits to gather insights on pain points and bottlenecks in brand transition.
  • Serve as a bridge between the client's leadership team and on-ground market stakeholders.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to enhance sales transition strategies.

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of experience in sales, preferably in commodity or building product sectors (cement, steel, tiles, paints, plywood, sanitaryware, etc.).
  • Leadership experience at Head of Sales / Regional Sales Manager / State Sales Head level or higher.
  • Proven dealer and channel management expertise.
  • Fluency in at least one South Indian language (Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, or Telugu).
  • Ability to travel extensively across South Indian markets.
