Job Title: Key Account Manager
  • To effectively introduce and acquire new customers in the specified market segment, generating high-quality referrals from targeted catchments.
  • To source quality current accounts that align with product mix, customer segments, and constitution.
  • To provide exceptional initial customer support and M+1 activation services, offering expert advice on products and documentation, opening accounts within stipulated timelines, familiarizing customers with branch services and processes, and monitoring welcome kit delivery and follow-up for repeat funding and business transactions.
  • To proactively register and activate acquired customers to direct banking channels.
  • To collaborate with Business Relationship Leaders in catchment mapping and scoping exercises, providing regular feedback on opportunities, customer needs, and competition benchmarking.
  • To analyze transaction banking needs of customers and meet or exceed defined targets for new customer acquisition month-on-month.
  • To adhere strictly to selling norms and guidelines set by the organization and internal/external regulators.
  • To ensure quality sourcing in line with bank policies and adherence to sales processes and KYC norms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
