Sales Director for India Expansion

At Okta, we're seeking an exceptional sales leader to spearhead our expansion in India. As the Sales Director for India, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market strategy that drives revenue growth and expands our customer base in the region.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing organization and make a significant impact on our global business. You'll work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives.
Your primary focus will be on building and managing a high-performing sales team that can effectively engage with customers and partners in India. You'll be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and mentoring top talent, as well as developing and implementing training programs that enhance their skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy that drives revenue growth and expands our customer base in India.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team that can effectively engage with customers and partners in India.
- Recruit, hire, and mentor top sales talent, and develop and implement training programs that enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives.
In addition to these responsibilities, you'll also be expected to:
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in India.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and reports on sales performance, and provide regular updates to our senior leadership team.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the software industry.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases in emerging markets.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
We offer a competitive salary of $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
