What We Need

The Sales Director for Growth and Expansion will lead the development and execution of sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share. This role will involve managing and mentoring a team of sales professionals, setting performance goals, and ensuring that sales targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and maximise market share
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team through training, performance evaluation, and succession planning
  • Build strong client relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and oversee key negotiations for high-value deals
  • Provide accurate forecasts, monitor sales performance, and collaborate with finance to ensure profitability and strategic adjustments
What You Will Do

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Driving business growth and expansion through effective sales strategies
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Mentoring and developing a high-performing sales team
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business objectives
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in FMCG Sales is a plus
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop long-term plans
  • Proficient in Sales Management Software (CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is ₹30 lakhs - ₹50 lakhs per annum, depending on experience.
