Head of Strategic Partnerships

We are seeking a seasoned sponsorship professional to lead our partnership strategies and sales across all Gateway Platforms initiatives, including TEDxGateway and EDGE Community.
This senior leadership position requires at least 15 years of experience in high-level sponsorship acquisition, management, and strategic sales leadership.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Drive annual sponsorship targets for TEDxGateway and other GPPL initiatives, securing high-value, multi-year sponsorship deals.
- Develop and execute tailored sponsorship strategies for TEDxGateway, EDGE, and related GPPL events, aligning with their unique value propositions.
- Build and cultivate deep relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers, leveraging your extensive network to secure impactful partnerships.
- Create and customize sponsorship packages that align with our mission, providing exceptional value to sponsors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sponsorships are creatively woven into the event experience.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to identify and capitalize on new sponsorship opportunities.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor proposals that deliver measurable value.
- Implement data-driven approaches to measure, analyze, and report on sponsorship ROI.
- Oversee profit and loss responsibilities for all sponsorship activities.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sponsorship team.
- Represent GPPL at high-level industry forums and events.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in sponsorship, sales, business development, or related fields, with a successful track record of securing high-value partnerships.
- Strong C-Suite Network and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and innovation, with a deep understanding of the innovation, technology, and thought leadership landscapes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, data analysis tools, and financial stewardship.
- Agility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
