Role Overview:
This senior leadership position offers a unique opportunity to excel in travel revenue management as a Team Lead for Travel Revenue Management. With a portfolio of 15-25 clients, you will oversee revenue management strategies, lead a team of 8-12 dedicated professionals, and drive customer success. Your expertise will play a critical role in establishing and refining processes, setting KPIs, and driving team performance while fostering strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Client Management:
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of 20 clients.
- Regularly conduct performance reviews to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of 8-12 revenue management professionals.
- Establish clear goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching to ensure team success.
- Revenue Management:
- Apply advanced revenue management principles to optimize pricing and inventory for clients.
- Analyze market trends and travel seasonality to inform strategic decisions.
- Process Development:
- Design and implement efficient processes for revenue management.
- Ensure the team adheres to industry best practices.
- KPI Tracking:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
- Monitor and enhance KPIs to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Strategic Adaptation:
- Stay abreast of market conditions, competitive landscapes, and travel trends.
- Adjust and adapt revenue management strategies to meet evolving client needs.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in revenue management within the travel industry.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in managing teams and client relationships.
- Thorough understanding of revenue management principles and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
