Role Overview:

This senior leadership position offers a unique opportunity to excel in travel revenue management as a Team Lead for Travel Revenue Management. With a portfolio of 15-25 clients, you will oversee revenue management strategies, lead a team of 8-12 dedicated professionals, and drive customer success. Your expertise will play a critical role in establishing and refining processes, setting KPIs, and driving team performance while fostering strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Management:
  2. Foster and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of 20 clients.
  3. Regularly conduct performance reviews to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  4. Team Leadership:
  5. Recruit, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of 8-12 revenue management professionals.
  6. Establish clear goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching to ensure team success.
  7. Revenue Management:
  8. Apply advanced revenue management principles to optimize pricing and inventory for clients.
  9. Analyze market trends and travel seasonality to inform strategic decisions.
  10. Process Development:
  11. Design and implement efficient processes for revenue management.
  12. Ensure the team adheres to industry best practices.
  13. KPI Tracking:
  14. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
  15. Monitor and enhance KPIs to meet or exceed client expectations.
  16. Strategic Adaptation:
  17. Stay abreast of market conditions, competitive landscapes, and travel trends.
  18. Adjust and adapt revenue management strategies to meet evolving client needs.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 6 years of experience in revenue management within the travel industry.
  2. Bachelor's degree in a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  3. Proven experience in managing teams and client relationships.
  4. Thorough understanding of revenue management principles and industry best practices.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Superior communication and presentation abilities.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
