Executive Housekeeping Role

As a key team member, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest room and public area standards are met.

  • Quality Assurance: Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc., after being cleaned by housekeeping staff to guarantee quality standards are maintained.
  • Room Management: Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update departing guest room status.
  • Liaison and Support: Collaborate with housekeeping management to manage daily activities and act as a liaison to coordinate efforts with engineering, front office, and laundry teams.
  • Issue Resolution: Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the front desk, prepare and distribute changes in room assignments, and communicate issues to the next shift.
  • Employee Management: Complete required paperwork and assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company and safety policies, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, complete safety training, and certifications.

This role demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience and supervisory experience.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
