Job Overview:
As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable. You will work closely with the front desk team to manage guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process all guest arrivals, departures, room assignments, and room change requests in accordance with hotel policies.
- Secure payment, activate reissue of room keys, and ensure rates match market codes.
- Document exceptions, verify adjust billing for guests, and communicate with appropriate staff when guests are waiting for an available room.
- Notify guests of messages, clear departures in the computer system, and coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns.
- File guest paperwork or documentation, operate telephone switchboard stations, and run daily reports.
- Provide directions and information to guests, answer and record guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns, and follow up to ensure each has been met to guests' satisfaction.
- Arrange transportation for guests and visitors, count and secure bank at the beginning and end of shift, and cash guests' checks.
- Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change, notify Loss Prevention Security of any reports of theft, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No related work experience required.
- Supervisory experience not required.
- License or certification not required.
