Overview of HR and Admin Role

Job Description:

The primary function of the HR and Admin position is to oversee all administrative functions and human resources activities within the organization. This dynamic role requires an individual who can handle multiple tasks, support company operations, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.

  • Responsibilities:
  1. Recruitment Processes: Oversee job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  2. New Employee Orientations: Conduct orientations and ensure proper onboarding processes.
  3. Administrative Staff Management: Oversee administrative staff and coordinate their activities for smooth office functioning.
  4. Payroll and Benefits Administration: Coordinate payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.
  5. Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
  6. Meetings and Travel Arrangements: Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  7. Correspondence and Record Keeping: Handle correspondence, filing systems, and record keeping.
  8. Budgeting and Expense Tracking: Assist in budgeting and expense tracking for administrative operations.
  9. Employee Records Management: Manage employee records, including personal information, job history, and performance evaluations.
  10. HR Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
  11. Employee Relations Issues: Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  12. Office Operations: Manage office operations, including supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices in HR and administration.
