Performance Management: Set performance targets, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure the team meets or exceeds sales and revenue targets, and provide regular updates to senior management on team performance.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in different regions. Adapt strategies to local market conditions and stay ahead of the competition.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, stakeholders, and customers. Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements that drive business growth.
Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication within the team and with other departments. Provide regular updates to senior management on team performance and market trends.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team or with channel partners. Implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience 3+ years in leadership role (Global leadership an advantage)
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM systems; experience with IBM's internal Salesforce system is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse, global team. Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of global market dynamics and channel strategies. Experience in market analysis and competitive intelligence.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different cultural and business environments. Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
- Results-Oriented: Focused on achieving results and driving performance. Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, data analysis tools, and other relevant technologies
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) and a strong understanding of Gen AI, Hybrid Cloud, and Cybersecurity services.
