Our Mission

The Channel Programs Specialist provides analysis, reporting, and maintains an overall picture of channel partner and service vendor network performance, capability, and capacity supporting regional sales and service teams. In partnership with regional key account managers, they provide analysis of options, manage the delivery of partner performance schemes to drive product and service growth, manage data in various systems, support changes routes to market through provision of data, and support the tools that enable Smiths and external partners to effectively operate indirect channels and a service vendor repair network.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, analyze, map, rank, report, and maintain an up-to-date picture of the global channel partner (distributor) and service vendor global performance, footprint, capacity.
  • Support regional teams with partner performance scoring activities, log channel performance and service vendor shortcomings, coverage, and capacity constraints, and capture sales and service plans to address.
  • Analyze and understand data trends and recommend immediate remedial activity including sales, partner inventory levels/age.
  • Maintain tiered incentive schemes and tools to increase revenues and profits from indirect channels and manage their implementation and operation. Proactively identify enhancements, collecting business requirements to improve partner services or internal efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain a risk and opportunity register for the partner landscape, identify strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities for each region.
  • Maintain a global schedule for third-party contract renewals, prompting contract owners to initiate renewals to ensure timely renewal processes.
  • Collate information to support channel partner and services vendor approvals processes and provide reporting on approval status.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a skilled individual to fill this position. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They should have a proven track record of success in a similar role and be familiar with industry-leading tools and technologies.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
