Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Channel Team Lead to join our team at MarketStar. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing global channel team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing global channel team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive channel growth and achieve business objectives, aligning channel strategies with overall company goals.
- Set performance targets, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed, ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales and revenue targets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in different regions, adapting strategies to local market conditions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, stakeholders, and customers, negotiating and managing contracts and agreements.
- Ensure clear and effective communication within the team and with other departments, providing regular updates to senior management on team performance and market trends.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team or with channel partners, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, with global leadership experience an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM systems, with experience with IBM's internal Salesforce system a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse, global team, with strong mentoring and coaching skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of global market dynamics and channel strategies, with experience in market analysis and competitive intelligence.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different cultural and business environments, with flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
- Results-Oriented: Focused on achieving results and driving performance, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, data analysis tools, and other relevant technologies.
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) and a strong understanding of Gen AI, Hybrid Cloud, and Cybersecurity services.
