Job Description:

At Spandana Hospital, we seek an experienced Insurance Risk Manager to oversee our insurance practice operations. This role is responsible for ensuring timely claim processing and resolving any issues that may arise during the process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Manage and direct the productivity of our insurance team, including adjusters, investigators, and appraisers.
  • Policy Development: Create, modify, and maintain procedures and documents related to insurance policies.
  • Claims Management: Assist in claims management and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Risk Analysis: Identify and analyze risks associated with insurance policies to minimize potential financial losses.
  • Budgeting: Achieve target budgets and optimize resource allocation.
  • Financial Management: Oversee company insurance funds and ensure adequate reserves for disability benefits and lawsuits.
  • Customer Communication: Direct information to claimants and provide regular updates.
  • Investigations: Preside over claims investigations and review insurance policies.
  • Data Analysis: Manage insurance data for reports and analyze statistical data to forecast risk and liability.
  • Premium Determination: Determine premium rates based on analyzed data.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in insurance operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
