Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Business Development Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and engaging prospective clients, understanding their insurance needs, and offering tailored solutions.

Salary Estimate: ₹8 Lacs - ₹12 Lacs per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold Calling and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through market research, cold calling, and leveraging various digital platforms.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business and insurance requirements, building long-term relationships.
  • Insurance Product Knowledge: Provide clients with detailed information about various insurance products, such as property, liability, health, and life insurance, ensuring they choose the best coverage for their needs.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Drive sales by effectively communicating value propositions, negotiating terms, and closing leads.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the external sales and account management teams to align strategies and meet sales targets.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all client interactions, proposals, and policies are documented accurately, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in lead generation/inside sales, preferably in the General Insurance or Insurance broking industry.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to communicate with diverse levels of management.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Insurance Brokers Regulations and Insurance Products.
  • Good working knowledge of MS-Office applications, Word, PPT, Excel etc.
